Words that “KILL”

16 Mar

There exist words that disempower and discourage entrepreneurs to start or continue an on-going business. Better eliminate those words in the vocabulary before  being eliminated in the race.

But – You can hear “but” a lot when someone negates what one’s talking about positive things. This would include saying your plans or decisions in the business and someone disapproves and utters “but”. You must create a positive image from this discouraging word.

Should have – These words imply a bitter feeling in the past decisions. This is full of negative images and serves no purpose until one points out mistakes which was done before. But one should understand that learning is better than being perfect in the past.

Can’t – This word is related significantly to impossibility. You might be up against a very difficult situation, and your challenges might seem insurmountable, but that doesn’t mean something can’t be done.

Words are just words. At the end of the day, it is still up to us what words would shape us.
