Aftermath of the disaster in Japan.

We all know what happened to the tragic incident in Japan few weeks ago. Not only they were devastated by the wrath of Mother Nature, but also suffered from quality issues on the food they’re exporting around the world. News on television previously said that some exported food from Japan, which are currently sold in Philippine supermarkets, aren’t safe to consume. However, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed that the 243 Japanese food products registered to them are all safe to eat, and that consumers must not be afraid of the arising issue regarding poor quality of the food. They also said that at this moment, there is no need to ban the Japanese products since there are still no specific basis for doing so. I am not a fan of Japanese food (not my type of food) but this, of course, is a good relief for everyone. We have a lot of Japanese food being sold around the supermarkets and it will be very alarming if the products are really not good in quality.
